Genrecon

It's time once again for me to wander across the border into Ontario for a fun little conference known as "Genrecon." It's held at the Lambton County library in Sarnia on the first Saturday in May. It's small, informal, and free.

This year's guest of honor will be Rick Blechta, author and musician. I've had the pleasure of meeting Rick at past Genrecon's and can tell you that he's a talented, entertaining, and genuinely friendly sort of a guy who is quite serious about his writing as well as his music. I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say.

GenreCon usually starts at 11 AM with a meet and greet reception and runs until library closing at 5:30. Attendees are then invited to join in a group dinner at a local restaurant.

Email infogenrecon@yahoo.ca is the best way to find out more.

Alternately, you can mail the organizers at:
Jeff Beeler or Ellen Dark,
The Reference Department, Sarnia Branch, Lambton County Library,
124 Christina St. South, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 8E1

Or call 519-337-3291
